The game works like any other platformer. You must defeat enemies, overcome obstacles, and collect coins and other items. Each of the missions is divided into standard levels and bonus levels, which are paired together. While standard levels have no time limit, bonus levels do, represented by the fuse of a cartoon bomb. To get the best rating on every stage, you must collect all the items in both level pairs. You must also deal with an incoming boss after each stage. This tougher enemy provides a difficulty spike.

It’s a good introduction to the genre for younger players. Experienced platform game players will breeze through this game fast.
