Generating puzzles
The game generates a different puzzle for every day of the year.
You can choose up to 365 to 366 different puzzles for each difficulty level.
You can play again by choosing the puzzle of a different day on the calendar or by selecting next on the winning screen.
Objective
You start the level with some mouths and shapes already filled in.
The blank spaces are occupied by eyes.
Fill in all the cells in a 9 x 9 grid with shape emojis.
Only one of each type of shape emoji can occupy every row, column, or 3 x 3 square on the grid.
Entering answers
The game has two modes for filling the cells: greenboard and blackboard.
Greenboard
Selecting the greenboard lets you place in a final answer for your puzzle.
Choose between two options
Shape (top): Pick between a square, circle, or triangle.
Mouth (bottom): Pick between a smiling, neutral, or frowning face.
A final greenboard answer comprises 2 layers.
Blackboard
Selecting the blackboard lets you place in your guesses.
Unlike the final answers, blackboard answers come as full faces.
You can add multiple blackboard answers at once, but only 2 greenboard answers.
Tips
Remember, there can be only 3 of every shape and 3 of every expression. Count the number of entries already in the row, column, or square.
Finalize shapes first.
Shapes are easier to see; it’s easier to keep track of them.
Because candidate answers come in shapes, it’s also easier to narrow down the final answer when the shape is already placed in.
Target Audience
The game is suited for people of all ages who like emojis or sudoku puzzle games.
The game has no adult themed content.
