How to Play
Dog-sit Clifford for Emily Elizabeth while she’s away. Do 4 different activities with Clifford throughout the afternoon.
Starting the Game
Select the play button on the lower right corner of the screen to begin.
The game is narrated. Make sure to turn on your speakers or use earphones when playing this game.
Left click with your mouse to select and navigate.
To select and navigate, tap on the screen with your fingers.
This game is composed of 4 different minigames.
Give Clifford a bath
Read to Clifford
Select each minigame from the selection screen, which takes place in Emily Elizabeth’s backyard.
To return to the backyard, select the purple home button on the upper right corner of the screen.
The storytelling minigame does not have the home button.
Our big boy needs a lot of exercise. Of course, given that this is Clifford we’re talking about, you must use a catapult play fetch.
Select the basket to pick out the toy for Clifford to fetch.
Drag the toy to the catapult.
Select the catapult to launch it. Select, hold, and release to fire the catapult further.
Clifford will go offscreen to look for the toy, then return it.
The further you launch, the further Clifford has to go to retrieve the toy.
Give Clifford a bath
Clifford’s bath time is a big undertaking, so you’ll need the townspeople’s help for this big job.
Choose among the townspeople to help you bathe Clifford. Each townsperson does a specific job.
Wash Clifford’s fur.
Brush Clifford’s teeth.
Blow Clifford dry.
Brush Clifford’s fur
Select a townsperson to bring them up to the crane.
To set them down again, select their spot at the bottom row of the screen.
Watch out for funny moments when Clifford interacts with the townsfolk.
Keep going until Clifford is completely clean.
Once you’re done, you automatically return to the backyard.
Read to Clifford
Read Clifford a story. To begin, get Clifford ready for story time.
Tuck Clifford in by selecting the blanket and dropping it on them.
Give Clifford his plush rabbit. Select the rabbit and drop it next to Clifford.
Once Clifford’s all set, it’s time to read.
Choose one of 5 books from the bottom row of the screen to read.
The book will occupy the entire screen. The narrator will read the book.
Turn the pages by selecting the right page of the book.
Each time you read a book, Clifford dreams about its contents.
You can keep reading the other books or select Clifford to wake him up.
Select Clifford 3 times to wake him up.
Once he wakes up, you automatically return to the backyard.
Dress Clifford up in a costume based on any of the 5 books you’ve read to him.
Select and drag the costume pieces for Clifford to wear them.
