How to Play

Draw lines to guide the basketballs into the hoops. Collect up to 3 stars on each stage.

• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Select the large orange button near the bottom of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels and level star ratings.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right, a game developer information button in the lower left, and a more games button in the lower right.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to draw lines.
    • Use your mouse left click button to set each ball into motion one at a time.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to draw line segments.
    • Tap the balls on the screen to set them in motion.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the screen has a home button.
    • The top center of the screen shows which level you are currently playing and has a line credit meter which shows how much ink you have remaining.
    • The upper right corner of the screen has buttons for restarting the level and controlling game sound.
    • The level select screen shows which levels you have completed and the star rating you earned on each.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • On each stage you are given a limited amount of line credit.
    • Your goal is to draw lines which guide each ball on the stage into a different hoop.
    • Collect as many stars as you can along your journey by routing the basketballs on a path which touches the stars.
    • You set the balls in motion one at a time by touching them.
    • Some levels have warps on them which teleport the ball across the level.
  • Drawing lines
    • You can draw some of your line segments before putting balls in motion & other line segments after some balls are set in motion.
      • If a ball gets stuck sometimes you can put it in motion by drawing another line segment near it which forces it to move.
    • Ink credit
      • The blue status bar at the top center shows how much ink you have remaining.
      • If you move the cursor or your finger quickly across the screen you use less ink credit than if you move slowly.
    • Be sure you leave enough room for the ball to fit through.
      • If the ball can’t fit you will need to select the level restart button to start the level over again.
    • You can always draw lines atop of other lines to provide redirectional force for subsequent balls, but you can not erase lines.
  • Moving balls
    • You put balls into motion one at a time.
    • Put balls into motion first where their path will not impede the path of other balls.
  • Levels
    • This game has 36 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back to replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win a level by having each basketball move through a different hoop.
      • You lose a level if the ball falls off platform low, falls out of bounds to a side, or gets stuck.
      • This game offers unlimited continues. Restart the level again if a ball gets stuck.
  • Star ratings
    • You collect stars by running into them.
      • You can earn up to 3 stars on each level for a maximum of 108 stars.
    • If you earn a low star rating on a level you can replay the level again to try to earn a higher score.
      • Your new score will only replace the old score if the new score is higher.
  • Tips
    • On some levels with warps you want a ball to repeatedly pass through a warp path to collect stars before placing it in a hoop.
    • If you are struggling to collect all the stars on a level feel free to beat it with a lower score & then replay it after beating all the other levels.
    • If you need a ball to fall deeply and then reverse course it is generally better to use a V-shaped bottom than a U-shaped bottom.
