How to Play

Play 4 versions of Arthur’s favorite cow-themed board game. Drop cows into piles and reach the

• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button on the lower left corner of the welcome screen to begin.
  • The game plays a cutscene explaining its premise. Arthur himself is the narrator.
    • Arthur’s narration doubles as the game’s tutorial.
    • Select the skip button on the lower right corner to proceed to the level selection screen.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your level progress.

  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to drop the cows where you need them to go.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on your screen with your fingers to drop the cows.
• Game Play
  • Level selection
    • Choose between 4 different play modes.
    • Each play mode has 6 levels.
      • The first level acts as a tutorial.
      • The levels must be unlocked in sequential order.
  • Interface
    • On the level selection screen, choose the gear button on the upper left corner to see the game’s options.
      • Select the trash can button to clear your progress.
      • Select the play button to return to the level selection screen.
    • Select the back button on the upper left corner to pause the game.
    • On the pause menu, you have two options:
      • Return to the level selection screen
      • Resume the game
  • Basic
    • Reach the carrot to clear the level.
      • You can choose between a low-hanging (easy) carrot and a higher, harder to reach cluster of carrots.
    • Pile as many cows as you can.
      • Left click or tap to drop the cows into the field.
      • Don’t let any of the cows fall off the playing field.
  • Variations
    • Stack the cows
      • Objective
        • Stack the cows one on top of another to reach the floating carrot.
        • The terrain of the field is even,
          • With each level, you lose more and more room to build the stack.
          • If the pile falls, you fail the level and must restart.
        • Strategy
          • Keep your cows in a neat, straight pile to reach the carrot.
            • A straight tower has a lower chance of toppling over.
            • Hover your mouse or fingers over the same spot when tapping the cows to keep the stack straight.
          • Don’t be afraid to build outward if you screw up.
            • A wide base can support a taller stack.
            • Be mindful of the amount of field you have left.
    • Pile the cows
      • Objective
        • Create a stack of cows high and stable enough to reach the carrot floating in midair.
          • The field is uneven, so you must create as stable a pile of cows as you can.
          • As you go through each level, the terrain becomes more uneven.
        • If your cow pile falls, you fail the level.
      • Strategy
        • Try to create a wide base of cows. This will provide you with a more stable foundation to reach the carrot.
        • Take advantage of sharp corners that can give extra stability.
    • Tip the cows
      • Objective
        • Pile the cows in such a way that they remain balanced on the seesaw.
          • Create a pile of cows large enough on one side to reach the carrot.
          • As the level progresses, the seesaw gets smaller.
        • Don’t let the pile lose balance or you lose the level.
      • Strategy
        • The key is to make sure the pile on top does not collapse.
          • The seesaw can be as lopsided or as even as you need it to be.
          • Make sure none of the cows are in the position to fall over.
        • If you’re aiming for balance, make sure there’s enough cows on either side.
        • If you choose the easy carrot, you can sometimes win by tipping the seesaw to one side.
          • As long as the cows stay put, you’re in no danger of losing the level.
          • To clear the level, you must have a cow in the right spot to reach the carrot.
    • Move the cow
      • Objective
        • Stack the cows to reach the carrot on a moving platform.
          • Although the platform is level, its movement makes it hard to create a stable straight platform.
          • The platform moves faster and gets smaller after each level.
        • Try not to create an unstable pile.
          • The cows are safe if they fall onto the stationary ledges on either side of the moving platform.
      • Strategy
        • Try to stay a few steps ahead of the platform to create as even a pile as you can.
    • Secret level
      • Objective
        • Create the highest stack of cows you can make.
          • You don’t control the direction of where your cows land, like in move the cow.
          • Only this time, it’s the source of the cows (the UFO) that moves.
        • Golden carrots represent your progress.
          • The more carrots your cow stack reaches, the better your performance.

        • The game ends when part of the stack collapses.
      • Strategy
        • Take it slow to keep your cow stack as stable as you can make it.
        • Time your cow releases carefully to ensure that your stack is centered.
