How to Play

Go on collection and rescue missions as Dark Bunny and a partner hero. Destroy as much of Dr. Aardvarkian’s sinister bad energy as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • Choose between single and 2-player mode to begin the game.
  • The game will begin after a brief cutscene describing its premise.
    • Select the arrow button on the lower right corner to skip the cutscene.
  • The game is narrated. The voiceover will serve as a tutorial.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and high score.

    • Help Dark Bunny pick a partner in crime fighting

    • You alternate playing as Dark Bunny and his partner throughout the game.
  • Level selection
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence.
    • Only Level 1 is available at the start.
      • You can replay any of the levels after you’ve played them.
    • You can also view your total high score on the upper left corner of the level selection screen.
  • Basics
    • Destroy Dr. Aardvarkian’s bad energy spheres.
    • Collect stars and other items like scooter fuel.
    • Avoid colliding with dark energy and flying fire ants.
    • Each level has its own unique gimmick:
      • Collect enough scooter fuel to get your partner airborne again.
      • Protect your partner while he or she is trapped in a bad energy sphere.
      • Save the citizens.
  • Hazards and lives
    • Lives
      • Dark Bunny and his partner have 3 lives to continue the game.
      • Lose all 3 lives and it’s game over.
      • You can gain more lives as the game progresses.
    • Bad energy
      • Dark Bunny and his partner have a beam on their scooters that destroys bad energy.
        • If you’re asking why Bionic Bunny, who can clearly fly, needs to use the scooter, this is the reason.
      • To destroy bad energy, you must make sure the beam hits it.
      • If the bad energy hits you anywhere else, it costs you a life.
  • Missions
    • Each level has a mission that follows 1 of 3 rule sets. On top of that, you must also destroy bad energy.
    • Accomplishing level objectives does not add to your score.
    • In some missions, Dark Bunny and his partner must collect fuel, energy bars, or laser power to charge their fight against evil.
      • Collect 5 of each type of collectible for each hero.
      • To grab an item, simply fly over it.
    • One of the heroes is trapped in the a bubble of bad energy and must be escorted.
      • Fly in front of the trapped hero.
      • Destroy or dodge anything that stands in the way.
    • Dr. Aardvarkian has trapped civilians and their pets in a bubble of bad energy.
      • Drive your scooter in front of the trapped innocents to free them.
      • They will all gently fall down in parachutes. Dark Bunny thinks of everything, just like another familiar do-gooder.
      • Free 5 innocents per hero, for a total of 10 per level.
    • You can review your progress on the level by looking at the counter at the lower left corner of the screen.
  • Scoring
    • Stars are worth 100 points each.
    • Bad energy spheres are worth 200 points.
    • You can replay the level to improve your score.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for Arthur fans of all ages.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
