• Starting the Game

  • The game is narrated. Buster’s voiceover serves as a tutorial for the game.

    • Choose between 4 different households to attend.

    • Each household has a minigame representing the Thanksgiving traditions followed by the family selected.
  • Common actions
    • See the family.
      • Observe the entire Thanksgiving table by selecting the buttons on the lower left and lower right.
    • Serve dinner
      • Before feeding any of the family members, you can select the food items to find out what they are.
      • Select the food once to find out what it is.
      • Select the family’s plates and glasses to serve the food.
    • Take a family picture
      • Select the picture frame somewhere in the dining room to open the family photo mode.
      • Before taking the picture, select the family members to change their poses.
      • Select the camera button on the lower left corner to take the picture.
  • Family traditions
    • Arthur’s: Making a thankfulness poster
      • Arthur has a large family, and it only gets bigger during Thanksgiving. Each year, he makes a thankfulness poster to look back of the things he can be grateful for.
      • Select the empty poster on the wall to start.
      • Decorate the poster with stickers.
        • You can find the stickers on the lower corner of the screen.
        • Select the stickers you want to add to the poster.
        • Browse the stickers by selecting the arrow buttons on the lower left and lower right corners.
      • On the left side are 3 buttons.
        • The top button undoes the last sticker you placed.
        • Meanwhile, the middle button erases all the other stickers and lets you start over.
        • Select the bottom button once you’re finished with everything.
    • Muffy’s: Prepare food donations.
      • Muffy and her parents are having a large dinner with her brother Chip and their butler Bailey. Their family is wealthy, and they give back by donating meals to families in need.
      • Click on the food trays to begin.
        • To fill the tray, match the outlines of the food with the shapes of the food in the bottom row.
        • Keep adding food until the tray is full. Fill up all the trays, and you’re done.
    • Mr. Rathburn’s: Bake a cake
      • Mr. Rathburn and his husband Patrick decided to make chocolate cakes a tradition because it unified their two favorite things: cakes and chocolate.
      • Select the cookbook to start the game.
      • Follow the in-game instructions to finish baking the cake.
      • When you’re finished, decorate the cake with the icing flavors of your choice.
    • Buster’s: Three sister’s stew
      • Buster and his mother prepare a stew made from the 3 sisters of Native American agriculture: beans, squash, and corn.
      • Select the basket to start the game.
      • Harvest the squash, beans, and corn.
        • Select the leaves to uncover the produce for harvest. You must remove all the leaves covering the produce to harvest them.
        • Once all the leaves covering them are done, select the produce and drag them into the basket
      • Buster will give a brief explanation as to how the 3 sisters work to help each other grow.
