The goal and strategy remains the same. In a 4 x 4 playing field, combine two number tiles to form a tile with a larger number. Keep playing until you reach the number 2048 or run out of spaces. As you play, more and more tiles appear. You must keep merging them and ensure that you can merge the resulting numbers.

Unlike most remakes of 2048, the pictures of animals do not replace the numbers themselves. You don’t need to play through the game several times to know which animal represents the numbers. Like it’s predecessor, it is a simple yet rather addictive game that will keep you preoccupied on a lazy afternoon.
